OV-Watch is mentioned in the PREPARING FOR PREGNANCY
section of the multimillion copy bestselling, doctor authored pregnancy book, "Your Pregnancy Week by Week"
by Glade B. Curtis, M.D., OB/GYN and Judith Schuler, M.S.
On page 20, the following paragraph can be found,
"OV-Watch is a device you wear on your wrist, like a watch, to help you determine when you're most fertile. The
device measures the concentration of chloride on your skin-chloride surge can be an indicator of increased fertility.
The instrument processes the information to determine your fertility status. When you read the OV-Watch, it tells you
whether you are fertile (preovulation), ovulating, less fertile (after ovulation) or not fertile. This toll is
lightweight and is worn at night. When you wake up in the morning, you read the results. If you're interested, ask
your doctor about it."
For December's "Win It" contest we has our readers send in their best stress reliefs when TTC.
Here are the top ten:
- My best stress release was honestly the OV Watch. Using the OV Watch took all the stress out of trying to
conceive. It was fun waking up every morning to see if it was Fertile Day 1 yet. I didn't have to worry or stress
out about missing my fertile window because the watch took all the guess work out of it. It made me so relaxed to
know that I didn't miss my window of opportunity. It made making love all the more fun and enjoyable because we were
so relaxed, and we knew we were timing it right.
- Going for long walks with my husband and son. With life being so busy it is nice to take that time together.
- The best way to ease stress for me is to go take pictures around town. I like to go to the river or one of
our beautiful parks. The beauty of nature is so relaxing.
- Remember to relax and enjoy the ride! Baby-making should be fun, don't lose sight of your relationship with
your spouse/partner!
- My best stress relief while my husband and I have been trying to conceive is a combination between having
a massage every month and going to my acupuncturist every other week. It's a great way to "get away" for an hour
and take your mind off of trying to have a baby.
- Because infertility treatments and products cost so much, I am not able to have massages from a massage therapist
like I used to. So, I have had to come up with different ways to relieve stress. My husband draws a warm bath for
me and lights candles. Then he closes the door and leaves until I call for him to bring me my robe and towel.
(He runs my robe through the dryer before he gives it to me...this is the best!)
- Hi! My best stress relief while trying to conceive is - believe it or not - cleaning! With both my husband
and I working all day, our home can get cluttered with mail, laundry and dishes. So we put aside one hour twice
a week to clean together while listening to holiday songs. After an hour of cleaning and straightening up, the
place looks great and we feel we've really accomplished something! After the house chores are out of the way,
we're better able to focus on TTC! It's crazy, but it's true!
- Romance...a nice dinner, a fire in the fireplace, and candles.
- Going out to dinner and to a movie.
- Getting lost in a good book.
- For our February Newsletter we will be conducting a short survey. Your feedback would be most helpful to us in
bringing you the highest quality product.

OV-Watch Success Stories
Cliff and Karen
To all of you wonderful people who designed the OV-Watch...I am forever grateful! I started out using the clear blue easy monitor
which wasn't so easy to use. Well, last month I purchased the watch. It is so easy to use. I had four fertile days and two ovulation
days, and only a month later, we are pregnant. To all of you ladies out there who are not sure if they are ovulating or are sick of
the "pee sticks" there is a better way. Get the watch, it's a worth while expense. I am living proof that it works. Good luck to you
all. I expect to be blessed in August 2008!
Dana, Kirk and baby Wylie
My husband Kirk were concerned about conceiving since I was over 40, had a left side oopherectomy a couple of years ago and my cycles
were somewhat irregular. We had been trying for 6 months on our own. I have been charting, using ovulation sticks and other methods
to determine our fertile time. All of this made the "process" very methodical, frustrating and not very fun. I was browsing the
internet when I saw the "Pregnant in 3 Months Promotion" banner. I clicked on it and read up on your product. Guess what? Our first
try with the OV Watch proved successful! We are pregnant with our first baby!! This is the BEST product on the market for anyone who
wants take the guess work out of it. It is so easy (who can't wear a watch-like device to bed?) and makes a process that can be SO
overwhelming and frustrating at times, effortless. Thank you for the OV Watch!! I truly believe it would have taken Kirk and I much
longer to conceive without the use of the OV Watch! Thank you again!
Ashley L
Huntington Beach, CA
After 9 months of ovulation sticks, temperature taking, checking my cervical fluid, and just hoping, we were prepared to go see a
fertility specialist next month. I was telling my mom about the OV Watch and somehow convinced her to buy me it for me as an early
birthday present. I started the first sensor the very first day I got it in the mail. It was the 3rd day of my period. After wearing
it faithfully every night, I finally woke up on day 11 to the wonderful phrase "Fertile Day 1". I was ecstatic and also a little
confused as this was a full week later than all other ovulation testing had given me. I was a little disappointed when I got my period
that month. The next month I put the new sensor in on day one. We had been travelling, so I was worried that my ovulation was going to
be a little off that month. Boy was I right. I didn't ovulate until day 21! There's just no way that every woman can go by the standard
that we all ovulate on days 14-16 like our doctors tell us. Everyone is different. I am happy to say that I took a positive pregnancy
test 4 days ago after a period that was a week late. The OV Watch works... it works for every woman. We are all different, we ovulate
on different days, and this is the easiest and most effective way to know when those days are. Good luck to everyone out there trying.
This product really really works.
