As you may know, a woman's most fertile time is called her "fertile window" and her best opportunity to get pregnant each cycle
is the 4-5 days before ovulation. However, the gold-standard tools available for use at home can only detect the LH surge or the
estrogen surge, which is only able to give the user, at best, 24 hours before ovulation, limiting their chances of conception for
the month. An additional limitation of the LH testing is that it can be inaccurate when used by a patient that is taking clomid
or a patient with PCOS, given that the drug therapy as well as the disease state elevates levels of LH. Emory University in Atlanta
conducted a study that was presented at the 2008 ACOG meeting to show that "unlike LH urine testing, OV-Watch can be used with
clomid patients to find their most fertile days". This would also apply for the PCOS patient that is being treated with Clomid for
follicle stimulation. For women trying to get pregnant and taking Clomid, OV-Watch provides distinct advantages and can decrease
the amount of time it takes for these patients to get pregnant.
By contrast, the patented and FDA-Cleared OV-Watch is the only device of its kind that uniquely detects the chloride ion surge on
the surface of the skin while the user sleeps. The chloride ion surge is the earliest predictor of the fertile window and it comes
approximately 6 days prior to ovulation. Thus, giving OV-Watch the distinct advantage of being able to detect the entire fertile
window for a couple trying to get pregnant. According to several notable papers including Dr. Wilcox's pivotal study on fertility,
those 4 crucial days before ovulation hold an over 80% cumulative increased chance of conception for the month, as compared to the
only 5% chance on ovulation day alone and almost 0% opportunity the day after ovulation.

Hi there my name is Theresa. I am 33 yrs old and my DH is 35 yrs old. We successfully got pregnant with our daughter after
3 months no real trying...we were lucky with her! No complications whatsoever. That was over 4.5 yrs ago. We decided about
2.5yrs ago that we would really like to have another baby so we started ttc in February 2007. We had both been tested with
results coming back that I was ovulating too late and my Dh had quality sperm but not quantity! No real big issues so we
tried and tried with no success. My OB/GYN then suggested we try clomid which I took for 4 mos and got pregnant; unfortunately
I m/c at 12 wks in August 2008. Very rough time in our lives, it was truly devastating. I went back on the clomid in November
2008 and we got pregnant again in February 2009; again I m/c at 7wks. At this point we decided no more fertility drugs and
we would just try one more time and hoped for a healthy viable pregnancy.......nothing happened! I then saw the Ov watch on
The Doctors tv show and thought what a wonderful thing I must try it! After going on their website and seeing all the success
stories I was convinced I had to try it! I ordered the Ov watch and I must tell you that it was worth every single penny and
I strongly believe it took the stress out of ttc. It was so easy to use and after 1 month of using that wonderful watch I got
a + pregancy test! My hubby and are over the moon, we are so thrilled and we just had to thank this great company for a
wonderful product! I would highly recommend it to anyone especially women who might be in the same boat as me, not knowing
when you're ovulating and having long cycles. Mine were 34-38 days. So for anyone out there wondering if they should try the
Ov Watch I would totally say go for it! It happened for me even when I had nearly given up, the watch came through for me
with shining colors!
Baby dust to all ttc!
Again thank you, thank you, thank you Ov watch!
You can submit your OV-Watch success story

me the link to your blog if you succeeded using OV-Watch or just trying. We want to hear from you!
